It is now 6 in the morning and the world is coming alive slowly. My wife finished her edit and review of my latest work--The Rejection Letter. I am now working on the revisions. It should be ready to submit to agencies in about two to three weeks, we will see.

I went to many blogs last night and noticed that many of the bet writers have very little hits on their sites and makes you wonder if this is a good use of time or not. I will so more research on it later

It is going to be an interesting day. I plan on going to many blogs and doing research into what makes them popular. I will also be looking for the best way to promote a blog. I would love to hear from others on what works and what does not work. My blog is very simple for now. i want a lot of input before I launch a new one.

It is great to be back in a situation where I can blog again. It has been hard to work and finish my last novel. My fourth novel is almost complete; it just needs the final polishing and editing.
We are moving to Florida just as soon as I sell my house. The thoughts of having all of my time to just write is extremely exciting. I will post here on the trip and how it goes. perhaps yu will want to follow along and enjoy the trip with us.

It is so good to be back at work. I went on vacation and wrecked my car and then had so many cases go bad that I had very little time to write. Hopefully, I will start working on my book again. If all goes well it will be completed by the end of March.

Hello world: It is 5 in the morning and time to get to work writing. This time of the morning is great in the fact that no one calls me or wants my time. My research and general plotting, in my head at least, is complete now and I need to actually start putting words on paper, so to speak.

My wife is from Russia, so we had some very interesting conversations on names to use for my characters. The names in Russia some times can be very hard for Americans to pronounce and I told her that if the reading public can not say the name they will eventually lose interest in the book. It would be great to get other peoples thoughts on this.

Any way, it is time to get busy and let the story begin.

It has been a while since I had time to post anything, but thought I would bring everyone up to date. I have finished my second novel completely now. Well, at least until I get those magical words that an agent or editor is interested in it and want be to proceed. My time now will be on my new project - The Salsa Connection. I am really getting into this project and will enjoy writing it.
My wife and I will be going to New York next week to go to a conference and to do some research on salsa clubs in New York. If any one has an opinion on clubs there, please let me know. My web site is looking better also at www.sirjohn.us

Hello world, the weekend was fantastic with so many things completed. I am excited about a book signing I am going to tonight. In fact, it is not just one author, but seven different autors signing tonight and should prove to be an exciting time.

I have worked on the book some this weekend and hope to have it finished tonight so that I can get copies out to some people to get their opinion and some good critique on it. with the writer conference coming up this Friday, I would love to have it in good shape so that I can pitch it there.

It is time to finish up the rewrite on "In Search of
True Love". I hope to have it all completed in time for the conference in Mobile next week end. My promotional material has been ordered and willbe ready to pick up on Monday. From all indications the conference will be well attended and perhaps we can make thaqt magical connection that will lead to getting this and other books published. I guess only time will tell.
