I have been working with my wife to develop a new web site for me and to learn more on what readers consider a great author web site. My wife is a programmer and working on web development to not only help me, but other authors as well.

It will be great to hear from others on what they consider to be the best sites out there. Let me hear from you if you have a favorite site.

I am working on developing a group of people to read my work and comment on it. I think we will meet at my place on Sundays around five. I will provide the wine and cheese. I will be quiet and listen to what others say about my work.

It would be so interesting to hear from other writers on how they get their worked reviewed by their readers.
My first project will be interesting. My very first novel I wrote, needs to be totally rewritten. It is only 64,000 words and needs to be over 100,000 and have much more excitement in it. The story line is good, but not developed as it could be.

Has anyone else went back to an old ideal and finished it?

It's Friday night and has been a long week. The car had some problems and I spent all day in the shop. That was a lot of fun. Tonight I am working on my blog site. It would be great to get some advise form others on how they built their site and got it running smoothly.

Tomorrow I am taking the family to see the boat parade from the pier in St Petersburg - It is supposed to be fantastic. It is hard to believe that it is so close to Christmas. However, after all of the moving to Florida, we are looking forward to finally getting some rest.

There is nothing like Florida and the beach

My family finally made it to Florida and we are getting settled in. We love it in St Petersburg and look forward to a great life here. I have finished my fourth novel and sending it out to agents. There have been several request for partials, but no request for a full read. I am thinking I need to rewrite the first few chapters that do not have enough dialog in them. The rest of the novel is fine. It will be a long night, but I am ready for it. We will see how it goes tomorrow.

It is now 6 in the morning and the world is coming alive slowly. My wife finished her edit and review of my latest work--The Rejection Letter. I am now working on the revisions. It should be ready to submit to agencies in about two to three weeks, we will see.

I went to many blogs last night and noticed that many of the bet writers have very little hits on their sites and makes you wonder if this is a good use of time or not. I will so more research on it later

It is going to be an interesting day. I plan on going to many blogs and doing research into what makes them popular. I will also be looking for the best way to promote a blog. I would love to hear from others on what works and what does not work. My blog is very simple for now. i want a lot of input before I launch a new one.

It is great to be back in a situation where I can blog again. It has been hard to work and finish my last novel. My fourth novel is almost complete; it just needs the final polishing and editing.
We are moving to Florida just as soon as I sell my house. The thoughts of having all of my time to just write is extremely exciting. I will post here on the trip and how it goes. perhaps yu will want to follow along and enjoy the trip with us.

It is so good to be back at work. I went on vacation and wrecked my car and then had so many cases go bad that I had very little time to write. Hopefully, I will start working on my book again. If all goes well it will be completed by the end of March.
