Writers are notorious in how much coffee it takes to produce a novel, and I am no exception. With a passion for getting the best coffee, I think I may have found it, but is pricy. I’m talking about Geisha coffee, those beans that sell like gold, and only produced in certain areas. The best of which are in panama and Costa Rica.  

This coffee has unique aromatics and  rich with tropical fruits and flavors so different from other coffees around the world. These beans appeared on the market about seven years ago and quickly grabbed the attention of high-end roasters and coffee lovers around the world. Now, the word is out and many are searching for the best places to buy.

 The Geisha beans originated in the Gesha region of Ethiopia and has no real connection  to the Japanese ladies that you would normally think of, but keeps the name easy to remember. It was when this coffee was transported to the Central America countries that it became so good. It is much like the pinot grape is to wine lovers, a plant very hard to work with and produces a limited quantity of fruit.
